VibrantCare Rehabilitation, is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to join our Business Development Team. This position provides an excellent opportunity for growth within the Business Development Dept.

In this role, performed on-site in our Sugar Land office and surrounding areas, you will perform a variety of tasks ranging from general office/clerical functions supporting all our markets to conducting Marketing and Business Development tasks locally.

This role is responsible for developing relationships with physicians, medical assistants and referral coordinators to increase referral volume – via phone, fax, email and site visits to physician’s offices within the Sugar Land and surrounding areas, including Greater Houston. Assist the VP of Business Development with various administrative tasks for the department, including, but not limited to the following...

Essential Functions:

  • Communicate with various physician offices on a daily basis via phone, email and fax as well as visiting physicians’ offices multiple days per week.
  • Communicate information in regard to our services, processes, contracted insurance and all relative information accurately and effectively.
  • Foster a positive and favorable image of VibrantCare via interaction with physician contacts.
  • Enter summary of each call in the system.
  • Fax/email out information to physicians’ offices requested during calls and inform appropriate Business Development Manager (BDM) for them to make personal visit to referring physician or follow up with personal visits for local referring physicians.
  • Maintain communication to VP of Business Development as appropriate per interaction during calling activity to referring and non-referring physicians’ offices
  • Update/maintain physician contact information on a regular basis
  • Use proper discretion in regard to the information provided on calls and via email. Ensure any information provided is in line with HIPAA Laws.
  • Promote and maintain excellent customer relationships both internally and externally on all levels and provide feedback to VP of Business Development on a regular basis.
  • Organize and schedule appointments and meetings for department, as needed
  • Produce and distribute correspondence for various purposes, internally and externally
  • Prepare reports for the department, as required
  • Prepare customized reports for various referring physicians
  • Act as the main contact to referring physicians regarding patient scheduling updates, etc.
  • Maintain and update documents for the department on a regular basis
  • Order marketing supplies, as needed
  • Assist with updates to marketing materials
  • Research and create presentations, as needed
  • Handle multiple projects
  • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

  • Ability and willingness to drive multiple days per week to surrounding Sugar Land areas, including Houston
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, along with proven organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi task efficiently and successfully
  • Excellent time and task management skills
  • Effective communicator, both verbal and written
  • Superb customer service skills including proper phone etiquette
  • Proficient in all aspects of traditional office equipment- including high proficiency of Microsoft Office
  • Strong people skills with the ability to engage effectively with Healthcare professionals, as well as various levels of management and staff
  • Ability to transition quickly between tasks including computer applications and projects, with efficiency and accuracy

HIGHLY desired

  • Associates degree in marketing, communications, or a combination of education and experience
  • Experience in Healthcare is a plus

$35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
